Juices for heart health – Pomegranate and Watermelon RECIPE
2 cups (500g) Watermelon
2-3 sticks of Celery
1 /2 – 1 Ruby Grapefruit OR Blood orange (optional)
- Wash everything.
- Peel and remove the seeds from the pomegranate. Easiest way is to cut the pomegranate into 4 quarters and turn them inside out and remove the seeds (It doesn’t matter if you get some of the white matter as this contains a natural anti-viral compound but BE WARNED it can be a little bitter).
- Chop the watermelon and celery.
- Juice and pour over ice.
